The Basilica
The Basilica of St. Josaphat
The Basilica of St. Josaphat is one of the finest works of architecture in Milwaukee. It’s located in the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The stained glass, sculptures and the murals are a visual treat, which is accentuated by the beautiful lighting.
I intended to use a wide angle lens for this shoot but the local lens rental for a day was quite expensive and i needed it only for a couple of hours. Fortunately one of my colleagues had a fisheye lens (Nikon 10.5 mm fisheye) which I borrowed for this shoot. And it turned out to be quite an experience shooting with a fish eye with its unique perspective, and it was the first time i used one.
The first photo is a HDR image composed of 3 exposures.
